Nice idea, needs some tweaks

A year a go, I transferred my phone line away from Telstra (as part of a special deal on ADSL, nothing personal against Telstra). When I made my final payment I must have entered the wrong amount, since Telstra think I still owe them 56 cents.

They obviously have implemented some logic in their billing system that tries to prevent collecting fees when the cost of collecting the payment would exceed the value being collected.

The problem is, since I've cancelled my service, I'm not generating any more charges. So every month Telstra sends me a letter advising me that I owe them $0.56, but telling me not to pay it yet.

I wonder if this will go on until I die.
